Is it weird that I'm already planning on what I'm going to cook & freeze in the new place? So far it's just veggie stock and carmelized onions (both in the crockpot), but just you wait until we get berry picking...
Ooooh I <3 caramelized onions, but haven't heard of doing them in the crock pot. Do you have a recipe? Do you eat them by themselves, or put them on/in other things?

As for recipes, sky's the limit! Put on pizza, sub for onions in soups/stews, w/ sauteed mushrooms (delicious!), in sandwiches, etc...
They also freeze very well. Use muffin tins if you have 'em.
