Another phone call, this time from zchocolate.com. I'm getting really tired of this.
Make a fairly nice stirfry with bok choi & green onions from my farm share & the garlic chicken from last night. Made another batch of the strawberry balsamic sorbet, this time with 4 leaves of basil, also from the farm share, and it's so good! The balsamic makes it a little too sharp but the basil adds a grassy backnote that I love.
Also, did I really just type 'grassy backnote?!'
I should have dyed my hair tonight, but instead, I made dinner, sorbet & fucked around on the internet. I also finally took out the recycling and swept the place.
My feet HURT. The blisters yes, but the top third of my foot is aching from being mashed into the pointy toe all day. My ankles are also hurting too - hopefully I didn't damage anything. I wore my semi-acceptable two strap sandals to find that the left sole has cracked almost completely and is now unwearable. Those? Would be my only flat, non-hurty acceptable footwear. And I currently owe the credit card companies $800 more than I have in my checking with no money coming in until the end of the month, so I really don't want to buy more. I'm going to dig around in Girlio's closet, but I may just wear my non-acceptable star shoes and a pair of heels to change into the for the event I have to work tomorrow.
...
Oh wait, I bought two pairs of flats at Old Navy on Friday. Here's hoping at least one set will work.
Also, shirt to wear under suit when one is working a memorial service... French blue or red stripey? Would red stripey be too chipper?
Also also, I got a call from couturecandy.com today. Jackasses who stole my card tried to order things using a card number that does not exist. I put fraud alerts on my credit report but this is pissing me off. Also, who decides to steal someone's credit card information, charge hundreds of dollars worth of stuff on it and ship it to the poor sod you stole it from? WHY?! I mean, maybe you'll lie in wait and steal it from porch?

If someone express-mailed me a package of custom printed gift bags (maybe?!) from China to my old address... well, I refused delivery, assuming it was a remnant of the credit card fraud from last month.
Also, really? Someone sends me gift bags from china and doesn't tell me? (The hardest part is that by refusing delivery, I couldn't actually open the package and see wtf it was exactly.

You know, I was really hating this week before someone stole my credit card number and charged several hundred dollars worth of crap online.
